Industry Outlook:
The UPS Industry in India went through a very tough period since March 2020. The Covid 19 outbreak and the subsequent lockdowns had a tough impact on the Industry. During the same period, many opportunities were also created such as - Work from Home, Study from Home, Data Center growth driven by the exponential growth of data, Healthcare growth, etc.

Going ahead, the industry is well poised for growth. The factors driving the growth would be digitalization activities across sectors including the GoI’s Digital India initiative, the need for clean power across industries, penetration of sensitive electronic gadgets in homes and hence the need for clean and uninterrupted power at home, various infrastructure projects, the growth of surveillance needs, distance education projects, digitalization of entertainment, etc. We believe that Datacenters, IT/ITeS, Govt, Infrastructure, Healthcare & Education segments are expected to grow faster than the rest of the segments.
